In over some days ago, Jay Rox publicly shared that his music and efforts don’t get the just due support from Zambians. This is despite having plenty of hits and timeless songs in his catalog. In the lead-up to his new and well-received album, Enigma. The rapper was much more concerned with moving to a new home like Tanzania; where the music he puts out is largely appreciated. This would somewhat explain why Rox frequently features Tanzanian singers.
On an album filled with classic afro pop/rap jams, in addition to displaying a vulnerability we haven’t seen from him before. Enigma album proves why Jay Rox, is where he is. And he is likely to start getting more of the love he feels he deserves from his home fans.
